As the ultimate authority onboard, you'll wear many hats: expert navigator, meticulous safety officer, inspiring leader, and shrewd decision-maker. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of the vessel, the well-being of the crew, and the secure delivery of cargo across vast oceans.

Must Have:

  • Valid Master Mariner (FG) CoC (DGS)

  • Minimum 30 years old

  • Meet DGS eyesight standards

  • Medical fitness certificate

  • Chief Officer experience (DGS-approved vessel)

  • Safe & efficient ship operation record

  • Leadership, communication & interpersonal skills

  • Decision-making under pressure

  • Intl maritime regulations & best practices knowledge

  • Cargo handling procedures understanding

  • English proficiency (written & oral)

  • Valid passport & travel documents

 

Plus Points:

  • Extra Master (Extra Master Mariner (FG) CoC)

  • Experience on target vessel types

  • CoC endorsements (GMDSS, Tankers, etc.)

  • IT & maritime software skills

  • Safety & environmental commitment

Education:

  • With good grades  in English, Science, Math (12th)

  • OR, Nautical Science diploma/equivalent training

Physical: Meet DGS eyesight & medical fitness standards
